Description of Service Implementation:
The Vladimír Vochoč Society, z.s., deals with the issue of care for people with autism spectrum disorder. The service focuses on caring persons who, due to the demanding care, often find themselves in an unfavorable situation, which brings with it specificity and varying degrees of impact on vital aspects. Unfortunately, the setting of the state system of support for carers and people with PAS is often inadequate, illogical, misjudged and misjudged.
The aim of the Society of Vladimír Vochoče, z.s., is to provide quality and comprehensive information transfer, to map the needs of people with PAS and caring persons.
The complexity of the service is divided into three levels (areas), which complement each other and thus form the quality of support.
1. Field Consultation and Therapeutic Level:
- Early field counselling -> mapping of social, educational, health needs based on the client’s life situation
- Care setting -> finding and setting up alternative communication, social skills development, hygiene, challenging care behaviors and how to approach this
- Therapeutic outreach -> talking to carers, people with PAS – the aim is to be supportive and find the most appropriate other options to lead our clients to feel they are not on their own
2. Legal Consulting, Educational, and Negotiation Level:

3. Support and Leisure Activities:
- Informal gatherings of parents – sharing and passing on experiences, friendships
- Joint events/activities – trips, outings, activities (swimming, cycling and many more)
Primary Target Groups of Our Clients:
A) FAMILY:
- A family in which a child has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at an early age.
- Single parent families where only one parent is caring (single mothers, single fathers).
- Families with more than 1 child with autism spectrum disorder.
- A family that is in an unfavorable situation and needs acute help (housing, benefits, medical incapacity, death…).
B) SERVICES, FACILITIES:
- School facilities – case supervision for pupils with PAS, educational courses, finding appropriate support for coping with schooling…
- Healthcare facilities – educational courses, awareness of the approach to the PAS patient, setting up collaborations for medical examination and intervention possibilities.
- Social services – case supervision/consultation of clients with PAS, staff training.
